Australian side enjoy Barcelona football tour with Lazz Sports
December 5th, 2012
A group of teenage footballers from Trinity Grammar school in Sydney are enjoying a week-long stay in Barcelona courtesy of a collaboration between Lazz Sports and Australian based football agency Football Tech World, which is headed by Manuel Camara.
Like David Oertli of Lazz Sports, Manuel is a licensed FIFA match agent and the pair have worked together to produce an exciting schedule for the Trinity players during their stay in the Catalan capital. The Australians are enjoying two games at the Camp Nou, Barcelona vs Athletic Bilbao in La Liga and then Barça vs Benfica in the Champions League. Trinity will also play three friendlies, taking on youngsters of the same age from local clubs Almeda CD, Prat Blaugrana and Blanca Subur Sitges, as they test their skills against European opposition.
Trinity’s Head Coach Zlatko Arambasic – a former professional player with KV Mechelen and FC Metz – is familiar with Barcelona’s football culture having represented Australia in the 1992 Olympic soccer tournament in the city.
As well as enjoying plenty of top class football during their visit the Trinity boys have also enjoyed sightseeing tours around Barcelona visiting Monjuic, the Sagrada Familia, Parc Guell and Tibidabo mountain, in addition to other city centre landmarks.
